Sanjay Rai, Ph.D.
Biography:
Dr. Sanjay Rai was appointed instructional dean
of Science, Engineering, and Mathematics in August, 2004. Previously,
Dr. Rai taught developmental, undergraduate, and
graduate level mathematics and statistics courses at four universities, he
contributed to program design at two universities, and he helped establish
partnerships between universities and community colleges, securing accreditation
and using technology in the classroom. Having worked extensively with diverse
student populations, Dr. Rai guided undergraduate
research in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering.
